After serving our country, all veterans come back as our nation’s heroes. But some return with serious injuries and need assistance becoming whole again.

For more than 68 years, Paralyzed Veterans of America has been dedicated to spinal cord medical research and fighting for civil rights for veterans with spinal injuries.

The organization was founded by a group of service members who came back from World War II with a spinal cord injury, Currently, there are an estimated 100,000 veterans with a spinal cord injury or disease in the country.

The PVA believes in helping these veterans to live full and rewarding lives despite their paralysis. Through donations made to the PVA, these patients receive treatment free of charge.

They are also given the means to play adaptive sports and find a job at a good company. The sacrifice made by these brave men and women is not forgotten. To donate today and find out more information, visit the Paralyzed Veterans of America website.
